3 Places To Keep Your Speedloader When It’s Not In Use

We’re sure you spend a lot of time on the shooting range. But even if you spend ten hours a week at the lanes, there are still 158 hours in a week when your speedloader has to be somewhere else. Where are the best places to keep them?

Safe – Where’s the best place to keep gun-related items when they’re not in use? We’re big fans of the gun safe. First of all, it keep the guns out of the hands of kids. Of course, it will protect your guns (and speedloaders) from just about every robber out there, because a gun on our bedside table can quickly be taken by someone who broke in. Plus, a gun case makes a great place to organize all of your gun paraphernalia.

Gun Case – Maybe you don’t have a dozen guns to protect and have decided to go with something substantially smaller than a gun safe.. When you’re buying a locked gun case, you should always make sure that it’s a little larger than you think you might need (or be prepared to buy another that can accommodate add-ons.) You’re going to need that space for when you start accessorizing, like adding a scope. You’re also going to want a place to keep your speedloader so that you’re always ready to head to the range.

Glovebox – Now we’re not going to suggest you keep your revolver in the glovebox…you want to keep it away from curious hands if you’ve got kids around. But if you’re out on your property with your revolver and decide to do some shooting, you might not have all the ammo with you that you want. Even if you do, you probably didn’t bring your speedloader along if you weren’t sure if you’d be plinking that day. So keep an extra speedloader in your glovebox so you’re always ready.

In that last situation, speedloaders by themselves aren’t dangerous, but when they’re right next to your gun it’s best to keep them locked up together so that you can access them as quickly as possible.
